After you have completed all three quizzes, you need to sort the items on your kit and count them. If you have extra pieces, bring them to me. If you are missing pieces write them on a post it note.
When you have everything counted and sorted, show me your kit and post it note.

Competitions (use brick or iPad to program)
Robot Wars Oct. 16 & 17 (2 competitions)
Start your robot in the center of the circle facing the edge.
Wait two (2) seconds, then go to the edge and turn around.
Then the "robot wars" start. Last robot in the circle wins.
Robot Races Friday, Oct. 19
Follow the color you were assigned to win the race. Be sure to keep the color sensor on the right side of the robot as you first built it from the booklet.
Maze Race Tuesday, Oct. 23
You will not know the arrangement of the maze before the race, so set your robot to find the barrier and turn right. Robot can not touch barriers.
Class ends Oct. 26 and kits will need to be organized and counted before that.
Clean up your kit by taking your robot completely apart.
Then put all the parts back into their compartment and count them to make sure they are correct.
Also delete all your programs and make sure your robot is named according to the kit number.
Lastly show me your organized and counted kit BEFORE you can play robot games.
Last Challenges
(remember the next challenges will be competitions)
A) Stay within the circle indefinitely (can use the color sensor)
B) Exit the garage, turn around and reenter the garage and park.
C) Find and move the ball.
D) Move the bale from start to point B and leave the bale there.
(Robot moves away)
E) Create an octagon 10 inches on each side
F) Follow the green line pattern
G) Stop at the black foam board and turn 90 degree angle
(It can turn either left or right, but you will not know where the barriers will be)

Complete the socrative quiz AND the paper quizzes before you start to build your robot. Go to socrative.com or use the app, then type in room number 596315 and your name. Get the paper quizzes from the teacher.
You can retake the quizzes until you are happy with your grade, but you need to do this BEFORE you start to build the robot.
